Creating (and adapting) learning content for linguistics and languages courses
UPSKILLS training event – 15 September 2021, 3 & 4 May 2022
WHAT
This training event aimed to bring together the project partners and provide them with intensive training on how to adapt existing learning content and generate new one as part of UPSKILLS.
WHY
The aim of the UPSKILLS project is to identify and tackle the gaps in digital and research skills in existing programmes of study and develop supporting teaching and learning materials that incorporate aspects of gamification and educational games.
WHEN
The event took place in two stages:
- A first training day on the 15th of September 2021 which trained partners on the pedagogical orientation of the materials to be produced and provided detailed guidelines on how this would take place.
- Two further days of training on the 3rd & 4th of May 2022, which focused on aligning creators’ perspectives and ensuring uniformity in line with the project’s aims in the relevant outputs.
WHERE
Given Covid-19, this training event took place online. The first day was organised by the University of Rijeka, while the next two ones was co-organised by the University of Belgrade and the University of Malta.
