The first UPSKILLS multiplier event – 25 June 2021

WHAT

This one-day multiplier event aims to bring together students, academics, industry and institutional representatives, to present and discuss the first results of the UPSKILLS project, and to provide opportunities for networking.

WHY

The aim of the UPSKILLS project is to identify and tackle the gaps in digital and research skills in existing programmes of study and develop supporting teaching and learning materials, with the ultimate aim of better preparing linguistics and language students for today’s jobs in the language industry.

WHEN

The event will take place on 25 June 2021, between 10am and 4pm. See the programme below for details.

WHO

The event is organised by the Department of Interpreting and Translation at the University of Bologna, with technical support from CLARIN ERIC. Speakers include UPSKILLS team members, representatives of EU institutions, university lecturers, students, researchers and representatives of companies. See the programme for details.
